I'm Helena, and here I'll be sharing a mix of everything that inspires me.

About me and my family:

Right now, I'm in Southeast Asia with my little family, that’s me, my partner Alex, and our one-year-old daughter Freyja. We're originally from Sweden, and over the past few years, Alex and I have done quite a bit of traveling.

In the spring/summer of 2021, we decided to convert a Mercedes Sprinter into a camper van. Little did we know how much we’d fall in love with van life. We ended up giving up our rental apartment in our hometown and off we went. We fell head over heels for Portugal, spent months exploring nearly every inch of the country, and even started looking for land there. But even though our love for Portugal is still going strong, there were things that didn’t feel aligned. So after putting all our focus there for quite a while, we decided it was time to stay open to other possibilities.

Alex and I have been together for ten years now, and a year ago, our beloved Freyja came into our lives. As incredible as van life has been, that inner pull to find a place to truly call home has started to grow stronger again. We don’t know exactly where that place is just yet, and that’s part of the adventure.

One thing that’s become crystal clear to us over the past few years is how important it is to be surrounded by like-minded people. A place where being different is the norm, and where people actually take time for one another.
